In January, no destination is off limits in Thailand and if you are smart you will book in advance to avoid the sky rocketing prices in its peak season, and if the Chinese New Year falls in January!

It’s no surprise that tourists flood to Thailand at this time of year, with so much sight-seeing to do, places to see and beaches to kick back on to top up your tan, it is the top tourist destination!

Temperatures can range from 15 to 35 Degrees so do bring a sweater for the evenings! Rainfall is at it’s lowest in Chang Mai, Bangkok, Hua Hin and Khon Kaen with as little as 1mm so these make for a popular holiday destinations.

However, it is also extremely popular to vacate to almost any Thai Island, with hotels filling to capacity in places like Koh Lipe, Koh Phi Phi, Koh Samui and Koh Tao, its safe to say you should do your research and book your trip earlier rather than later to avoid disappointment!

The lesser known islands such as Koh Kut, Koh Muk and Koh Phra Thong can be great options if you are wanting to avoid heavy crowds!
