Located South of Krabi, Railay beach is cream of the crop when it comes to beautiful beaches, it is considered one of the best in the country. You will need to take a boat to reach the island as it is no longer attached to Krabi via a road. It is becoming known globally for its rock-climbing karst peaks; bringing both novice and expert climbers to venture up the towering limestone cliffs.

That is not all the little island has to offer you can also go white water rafting, have a massage on the beach, partake in a cookery class, explore the Diamond Cave, canoeing around the cliffs, snorkelling in the clear waters and elephant trek through the rainforest!

One of the hundreds of things that make Thailand so different is the amazing floating markets! With so many of these awesome floating markets to choose from, you won’t be disappointed!

Top of the list are: Taling Chan Market, Bang Ku Wiang Market, Damnoen Saduak and Tha Kha.

These days the floating markets are flooded with tourists rather than locals, haggling prices for fruits, vegetables, famous coconut juice straight out of the coconut itself and local Thai cuisine! You can also find some quite peculiar treats at these markets but we will leave you to find out what they are yourselves!

If you don’t like the sound of this hectic haggling business then feel free to take a more peaceful, guided boat tour of the Damnoen Saduak Market!

Doi Suthep

Chiang Mai’s most famous and travelled to wat is the Doi Suthep. It is located at the top of a mountain overlooking the city. This one of a kind temple is intricately carved with religious creation, you will find yourself with many monks, travellers and Buddhists gazing over the city of Chiang Mai and marvelling at its creation.

At the base of the stairs you can find everything you could ask for, from local Thai treats to handmade gifts and elephant carvings to home décor. Be sure to take a bottle of water with you as the trek up the stairs is extremely steep and is difficult in Thailand’s humidity.

The Grand Palace, Bangkok

Are you ready to have your party hat popped off? Head over to the infamous Full Moon Party, Koh Pha Ngan. The party kicks off from sunset and carries on until sunrise; a swarm of neon craziness! You can dance the night away whilst meeting people from all over the world, watching the talented fire dancers, drink buckets of whatever you desire, watch the DJ spin the decks on the big stage… You name it!

Make sure you check the website on when it is each month but they also have Half Moon and Dark Moon parties going on if it doesn’t fall on the dates of your trip! Get this ticked off the bucket list! Shots anyone?

Koh Phi Phi Island is a famous place filled with wonder and beauty! It’s main attraction is its famous history; Leonardo DiCaprio’s movie The Beach having been filmed on Maya Bay! Swoon! It also has Monkey Beach where you will come face-to-face with these hilarious cheeky creatures who will happily pinch your lunch off you in a split second! Another beautiful spot is Long Beach which is perfect for watching the sunset! Pure bliss and a must when visiting Thailand!

To get to Phi Phi, you must take a boat or ferry, which is an adventure in itself! Sailing across the beautiful aqua sea, white waves crashing, crisp wind blowing in your hair and the warming orange sun beaming down on you! Boats leave from Krabi, Phuket or Koh Lanta at regular hours throughout the day!
