Located in Thailand’s capital city of Bangkok; The Grand Palace is one of the most visited and most remembered landmarks in Thailand. It was built in 1782 and you will not believe your eyes when you see the detail on this phenomenal structure! Home to the Thai King for 150 years, it is now used for important ceremonial occasions.

Open daily from 8.30am-3.30pm with a strict dress code which does apply when visiting most temples in Thailand as they are a sacred place. Women are required to cover themselves with long sleeved tops and long trousers or skirt. No sandals without ankle or heel straps, sweatshirts or pants and at present you are also requested to wear black or white cloth to respect the passing of Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadei.

Koh Phi Phi Island is a world famous beach known for Leonardo DiCaprio’s movie The Beach having been filmed on Maya Bay. Swoon! It also has Monkey Beach where you will come face-to-face with these hilarious cheeky creatures who will happily pinch your lunch off you in a split second!

Open daily from 8am -6pm and again as it is a sacred temple you will be required to follow the rules of: No revealing clothes, removing shoes before entering and no photography inside the temple. It is truly stunning and one not to be missed!

The Tiger Cave Temple also known as Wat Tham Suea found it’s name from the tiger paw prints inside the cave itself. It is a Buddhist temple northeast of Krabi and is one of the most sacred in the province. It also is home to a strenuous flight of 1237 stairs and a gigantic Buddha; the climb is not for the faint hearted but you will reap the rewards all the way to the top with breath taking views for miles and miles! Be sure to take the biggest bottle of water!
