Sentosa Island is a billion dollar project, and it looks like it was worth every penny! The place is beautiful! Sentosa Island is the idealistic tropical island paradise—but it’s real.

Sentosa is a quick jaunt; merely 15 minutes away from the CBD in Singapore; it is connected to the main-land by a bridge. Also, a very fun way to get to Sentosa Island is to take the cable-car up in the air, or the ferry.
The icing on top of the cake is Sentosa Island’s Resorts World which has a Universal Studios theme park, the island’s premiere casino, and tons of grand shopping and seeing spectacles. Main attractions on the island include a two kilometer long sheltered beach, two golf courses and several holiday resorts.Often it is deemed “The Holiday Experience.”

The Sentosa Island Tropical Theme Park is a family-oriented attraction with beaches, an under-water adventure, and many other awesome attractions to choose from. Traveling on the island is quick and care-free. Public transportation service is provided by way of monorail, bus, or cable-car. The mono-rail is the most popular; however the cable-car provides a wonderful, panoramic view of the island and city.
Sentosa Island is basically a family vacation paradise. There are endless attractions and distractions for kids and beautiful scenery, a far-off exotic destination, and even casinos for a little more indulgence for adults to play on their vacation, too.

Like much of Malaysia’s cultural influence, and Singapore’s Sentosa Island’s restaurants have many varieties—with cultural influences stemming from Chinese and Indian flavors, with classic imports like Italian and American for a truly encompassing dining selection throughout the island.

Sentosa Island is home to many different eclectic beach bars you should be sure to cross off your list.
As you peruse beach bars and enjoy the lovely beaches, be sure to go to The Bora Bora Beach Bar, and try a Singapore Sling. It’s a favorite for travelers for its great location and relaxed atmosphere.
Another can’t miss Sentosa Island Beach Bar is Café del Mar, much like its famous counter-part in Ibiza, this beach bar boasts a swimming pool and a hip DJ.
